HouseKey by Fortress Hospitality

These terms govern your use of HouseKey, the membership and door-entry service operated by Nicolas Brem, doing business as Fortress Hospitality. By using HouseKey, you agree to these terms.
HouseKey lets you apply for membership, verify your identity, and use your membership pass for entry at Fortress Hospitality venues.
We text you only if you ask us to. On the membership application (joinhousekey.com/apply) and on the member sign-in screen (joinhousekey.com/member) there is a checkbox, unticked by default, that reads: "Text me sign-in codes and notices about my membership at this number." Ticking it is what opts you in. If a member of venue staff signs you up in person, they ask you out loud — "Can we text you sign-in codes and notices about your membership at this number? Message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP any time. It's optional — say no and we'll email you instead." — and record your answer before any message is sent; being approved for membership does not opt you in. Consent is not a condition of applying for membership, of being approved, of signing in, or of any purchase, and agreeing to these terms does not opt you in to messages — only ticking the box does. If you leave the box unticked, your application is submitted exactly the same way and you can still sign in: the sign-in button reads "Email me a code" and works, we send your code and every notice to your email address instead, and we send nothing to your phone. No part of HouseKey is withheld, disabled, or degraded because you declined. You may withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP.
Use HouseKey only for your own membership and entry. Do not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service.
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nicolas Brem, doing business as Fortress Hospitality is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the service.
